Women In Black 29 juli 18.00-19.00 uur

Vandaag zal Frances Scarrott opnieuw stil protest aantekenen achter het Stadhuis in Maastricht. De Women In Black houden maandelijks of wekelijks een stille wake en vragen zo aandacht voor oorlogsgeweld, onderdrukking en schending van de mensenrechten in diverse landen, met name in Gaza en de Westbank.

Today, Frances Scarrott will lead her monthly silent wake again, near the back entrance of Stadhuis Maastricht.The Women In Black are known worldwide for their monthly or weekly vigils in which they protest against war, suppression and violation of human rights like in Gaza and the Westbank.

Vorige maand stond Frances er gelukkig NIET ALLEEN voor, wel vraagt zij dit keer om enige consideratie wat betreft het feit dat de Women In Black GEEN RELIGIEUZE of politieke groep is, maar louter uit humanitaire beweegredenen tegen de Israelische bezetting van Palestijns grondgebied protesteert.

Last month, Frances wasn't alone anymore, like she has been for years. However, she would like to emphasize that the Women In Black are NOT RELIGIOUS NOR POLITICAL and protest from sheer humanitarian perspective against the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land.

Iedereen is welkom om samen met Frances Scarrott op een waardige manier te protesteren tegen het onrecht in Israel, Gaza en de Westbank zonder religieuze uitingen of bedoelingen, S.V.P.
