Lovely kids versus bloody vampires!

They were only eight years old, when they lost their parents. Now, the teenage twins Richard and Abigail Arkwright come face to face with something even more horrible... Thirsty vampires!

This is the setting of the book Beyond the Veil, by the young author Johan Burghall. It's his first published book, in which you learn a lot about the history of vampires in the English culture. 

The cover was designed by Johan's wife Nicola. They both live in London and talk about this bloody action-packed adventure.
