The information portal for online information about the Aachen City region, organized by WFG, the city region’s development company, provides business with information. Business moves in waves, sometimes sideways and sometimes appears as negative growth; but, at every phase information is needed, and, on the home page of the WFG, (linked below), there is a button for start-up growth and good advice. This is the information portal, the advisory
portal for new business - where they can get the information they require.

In addition to general information about start-ups, there are particular phases, such as preparation, financing, and tools, which are important for financial planning. It is customer friendly and one can find plans and information brochures that are useable in the whole of the Aachen
region. This means that the tools can be used in Düren, Euskirchen, or Heinsberg. All has been worked out beforehand with the Region and the Chamber of Commerce.

Other projects such as formalities, events, funding and promotion, development, research, advice, potential, etc, are dealt with. The intention was, as was the case with the business real estate portal set up in 2009, to have a qualified 24/7 information center. The portal
