 ebastien Bach, emblematic figure in the western world. The choreograph
 er thus offers us a show of unusual influences, at once visual and mus

 itorium Limburghal, Genk.\nNederlands Vorig seizoen zag u ‘D’Orien
 t’, een dansante ode aan de Arabische cultuur van de hand van Thierr
 y Smits. Met ‘D’Orient’ leverde Limburger Thierry Smits zijn zov
 eelste meesterwerk af. Het liet zien waarin hij als choreograaf het st
 erkste is: esthetische, haast abstracte dans gericht op de virtuositei
 t van de dansers. Een vakman pur sang.\n\nOndertussen werkt hij aan ee
 n nieuw hoofdstuk in zijn rijkgevulde carrière. ‘To the ones I love
 ’ wordt een abstracte choreografie op muziek van Bach. Hij werkt daa
 rvoor met maar liefst tien dansers van Afrikaanse afkomst, die hij via
  audities in Brussel, Parijs, Londen en Rotterdam vond.\n\nLocaties\n\
